When the kitchen can reach service at the push of a button
Good communication between kitchen and service is often noticed because you hardly hear it. No loud shouting, no disturbing bells, no unnecessary noise during operations. Instead, the information arrives exactly where it is needed. With the new Guest Line extension, the kitchen can now call the service team, directly on the modern waiter watch and by radio signal.
Until now, Guest Line has mainly focused on the waiter call for guests. Guests can call the service team directly, for example on the terrace, in the lounge or in large outdoor areas.
Now, Guest Line also becomes a practical connection between kitchen and service. Short coordination, ready dishes or important information can be passed on in a targeted way, without disturbing operations acoustically.
When the kitchen needs to reach service directly
During daily operations, timing often makes the difference. Dishes should not wait unnecessarily at the kitchen pass. Questions should be clarified quickly. And the service team should be informed without anyone having to shout across the business.
With Guest Line, the kitchen can notify the service team directly. The information arrives directly on the waiter watch.
This is particularly useful when:
- Dishes are ready
- A question about a table is open
- Service is needed briefly at the kitchen pass
- An order needs to be coordinated
- The team should be informed without loud shouting
This keeps communication clear without unnecessarily disturbing operations.
Radio signal instead of WiFi
Guest Line works by radio signal and not via WiFi.
This is an important advantage for many hospitality businesses. Kitchens, terraces, side rooms and larger areas do not always have reliable WiFi coverage everywhere.
Battery with a long service life
The battery requires very little energy and lasts approximately two years, depending on usage.
This reduces maintenance effort and makes Guest Line a solution that works reliably in the background during daily operations.
Modern waiter watch with a new design
The extension comes with a new, more modern waiter watch with a fresh design. The watch informs the service team directly and discreetly as soon as a call comes in. This keeps the team mobile and ensures the information arrives where the team is currently working.
This is especially practical for restaurants with terraces, several service zones, separate rooms or a kitchen that is not directly visible from the service area. Communication does not become louder. It becomes more targeted.
For smaller and larger teams: Service Call Tab in the kitchen
The Service Call Tab is used in the kitchen so that service can be called directly.
For smaller teams with up to five people in service, the compact Service Call Tab is ideal. Each person is assigned a fixed number, which can be selected by the kitchen.
For more than five people in service, Guest Line can be used with an extended Service Call Tab. In addition to the number, the name of the respective person can also be noted.
This allows the kitchen to see at a glance who can be called. This is particularly helpful for larger teams, several service zones or high capacity operations.
Communication remains clear: it is immediately visible who is being informed and who should react.
The addition to the waiter call for guests
Guest Line is already used as a smart waiter call for guests on terraces, in lounges, badi restaurants and large outdoor areas. The new extension adds a meaningful use case. Now, not only guests can call the service team, but also the kitchen.

Conclusion
With the new Guest Line extension, communication between kitchen and service becomes easier, calmer and more targeted. The kitchen can inform the service team directly, the service team receives the notification on the modern waiter watch and, thanks to radio technology, the system works independently of WiFi.
For hospitality businesses, this means: fewer walking routes, less noise and clearer processes during daily service. Would you like to know whether Guest Line is suitable for your business? Vendomat will be happy to advise you.
